If you like to drink tea, then you must know this

If you like tea, the good news is that this hot drink helps keep brain functions fast.

This was revealed in a new medical study in the UK.

The Newcastle University study found that older people who are accustomed to drinking five or more cups of tea a day have better brain function than those who abstain from hot drinks.

The study included 676 people over the age of 85.

Research has shown that people who drink 5 or more cups of tea a day have a better ability to concentrate.

The study also found that tea drinkers performed better in other brain functions.

The ability to react was also better discovered in these individuals.

"We now know that enjoying tea is good for mental health for the elderly," the researchers said.

"Whether tea contains milk or not, people definitely benefit," he said.

This is not the first time that tea has been shown to be beneficial for mental health.

A study last year found that making hot drinks a habit can be beneficial for mental health.

In a study published in the medical journal Impact Journals LLC, the research team analyzed the effects of tea drinking on brain structure and asked a group of volunteers to fill out a questionnaire on hot drink habits.

The volunteer group was then divided into two groups, one consisting of tea drinkers and the other of those who lived away from tea.

The brains of these individuals were scanned for MRI.

The results showed that people who drank tea had lower levels of hemispheric asymmetry in the connectivity network of the brain, an increase in this level in previous research reports linked to a rapid increase in brain age.

Similarly, the default mode of the tea drinkers' brain network connection was stronger, it is the part of the brain that analyzes information such as future planning and thinking about others.

The researchers said that the results suggest that drinking tea improves brain structure, which helps the brain to function better and slows down the effects of aging on the brain.

A September 2019 study by the National University of Singapore also found that the habit of drinking tea helps keep brain parts better organized and healthy brain function better than those who abstain from alcohol.

The study analyzed the brain data of 36 people, and according to the researchers, the results provide the first evidence of a positive effect on the brain structure of tea drinking habits.

The University of Singapore teamed up with Essex and Cambridge University in the UK for this research.

He said that by making it a habit to drink tea, it is possible to prevent the decline in mental activity due to aging.
